Wildflowers
Wildflowers grow,
where they need to go,
free from the rules,
imposed.
They dance and sing,
amidst the streams,
they decided long ago,
they don’t need rules.
All they know is their essence,
their wild grace.
All they know is how to dance in the rain.
Their joy comes from being free,
resilient,
and everlasting.
the spoken word
I conceive these pieces with the beat of my heart,
then birth them with the fire of my voice.
